The Hudson Pride Foundation provides under-graduate grants & scholarships to meritorious students in Columbia County, NY who are marginalized due to sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression as well as students who have demonstrated a real commitment to promoting & supporting LGBT equal rights.

Christine Wynkoop has been a teaching assistant at Rondout Valley HS for 20 years. She began advising Rondout Valley High School’s GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) 6 years ago at which point she began advocating for LGBTQ students and their allies within the District.

 

Anthony Mignone has a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton. He has many years of experience as a school administrator, educator, workshop facilitator and trainer in the Hudson Valley.

If you are being bullied or harassed at school, feeling rejected by friends & family, feeling sad, alone or anxious, or just feel the need to talk or to just be with others, please come. Free rides to & from all meetings can be arranged with advance notice for those that live outside of Hudson.
